CPR Basic Life Support (BLS)

CPR: Basic Life Support is the first-ever peer reviewed small animal CPR course that provides certification. The course is authored by Daniel J. Fletcher, PhD, DVM, DACVECC, Associate Professor of Emergency and Critical Care at the Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine. It teaches the evidence-based clinical CPR Basic Life Support (BLS) guidelines developed by the RECOVER Initiative (, and is endorsed by the Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society (VECCS) and the American College of Veterinary Emergency Critical Care (ACVECC). Participants who complete the course will receive a diploma officially documenting certification in BLS by ACVECC.
